Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Macatting Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a creative and marketing studio registered in Malaysia. By engaging our services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following terms:

1. Services

Macatting Studio provides branding, website design, marketing consulting, packaging design, social media management, and creative support services. The scope of services will be detailed in a proposal or quotation agreed upon by both parties before work begins.

2. Payment Terms

• All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated.
• A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation of the project unless agreed otherwise.
• Full payment must be made before final files or website access are delivered.
• Late payments may be subject to a 5% monthly late fee.
• Macatting Studio reserves the right to pause or terminate any work if payment terms are not met.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide timely feedback, materials, and approvals required for the project
• Ensure that all content provided (e.g. text, images, brand assets) is owned or licensed by you in specific case or task
• Be responsible for the accuracy and legality of all information submitted for use

4. Revisions & Scope

• Unless otherwise stated, proposals include up to two (2) rounds of revisions per deliverable.
• Additional revisions or requests beyond the original scope may be subject to extra charges.
• All revisions must be submitted within 7 working days of delivery; otherwise, the project is considered approved.

5. Intellectual Property

• Upon full payment, ownership of final deliverables is transferred to the client.
• Macatting Studio retains the right to showcase completed projects for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless a prior non-disclosure agreement (NDA) has been signed.
• Preliminary drafts, rejected concepts, and unused designs remain the property of Macatting Studio.

6. Project Timeline

• Estimated project timelines will be shared before work begins and depend on timely client feedback and approvals.
• Delays in feedback or communication may result in extended delivery timelines.

7. Cancellation & Termination

• You may cancel a project at any time by providing written notice.
• If cancelled after work has started, the deposit is non-refundable and additional costs may be invoiced based on completed work.
• Macatting Studio reserves the right to terminate any project due to non-payment, breach of terms, or unprofessional conduct.

8. Limitation of Liability

Macatting Studio shall not be held liable for any damages, loss of business, or indirect losses arising from the use or inability to use any deliverables or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business or project-related information exchanged during the course of the engagement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.
